Every article on Qu3stions is researched against primary sources, written by a human editor, and reviewed before publication. We do not publish content based on secondhand summaries, press releases, or other blogs. Here is exactly how our editorial process works.
What sources do we use?
We follow a strict source hierarchy for every factual claim:
- Official sources first. Government agencies (IRS, CDC, NIH, FDA), peer-reviewed research, and official company documentation.
- Industry data second. Published reports from recognized research organizations with transparent methodology.
- Expert commentary third. Statements from credentialed professionals, attributed by name and qualification.
We never cite other blogs, content aggregators, or AI-generated summaries as primary sources. If we cannot verify a claim against an authoritative origin, we cut the sentence.
How do we fact-check?
Every number, price, date, eligibility rule, and status claim is verified against its primary source before publication. We do not hard-code months or years in body copy because they go stale. Instead, we write temporal references like “when I last checked” and display a last reviewed date on every article.
We never fabricate statistics, quotes, review counts, or ratings. If a data point cannot be confirmed, we remove it rather than approximate.
How do we handle corrections?
If we publish an error, we correct it as soon as it is identified. Corrections are reflected in the article with an updated review date. Material corrections that change the substance of advice are noted explicitly in the text.
Readers can report errors through our Contact page. We investigate every correction report and respond within 48 hours.
How often is content updated?
All published content is reviewed on a rolling basis. High-priority articles covering financial eligibility, health guidance, and product pricing are reviewed at least quarterly. Every article displays a visible last reviewed date near the byline.
We do not update dates without making substantive changes to the content. A date change always reflects a genuine review.
What about editorial independence?
Qu3stions is not affiliated with any government agency, financial institution, healthcare provider, or product manufacturer. If we ever include affiliate links, they are disclosed on the page. Our recommendations are never influenced by affiliate relationships, advertising, or sponsored content. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.
